Package Inserts

Package Insert Programs (PIPs) are centered around outgoing goods that have been purchased by a consumer. Purchases are generally made via catalog or online. These packages containing goods are then mailed out, and third party advertising is included along with the purchased items. Inserts from advertisers are often pre-collated in an envelope, which is then inserted inside of the package being mailed. However, some PIP programs allow loose inserts. Since the package being received is anticipated and desired by the consumer, PIPs command a very high opening rate. Quite often, they are highly-targeted by demographic as well
