El Heraldo Catolico is the Spanish language newspaper for the Diocese of Sacramento, Diocese of Oakland, and Archdiocese of San Francisco. It is distributed the first Sunday of every month at the Hispanic Mass celebrations in all three dioceses.Distribution is 37,000 with additional distribution at retail establishments located in Hispanic neighborhoods. Boundaries of distribution: From the Sacramento metro area to the Oregon border, and from San Francisco to the Nevada state line. Does not include northern coastal areas.El Heraldo Catolico provides objective reporting on a broad spectrum of social, economic, political and religious issues in the Hispanic community. It addresses concerns of youth, young adults, families, and seniors - both recent immigrants and established citizens.Since 1996 El Heraldo Catolico has grown from 7,000 circulations to 37,500, covering 25 counties in Northern California that make up the Archdiocese of San Francisco, the Diocese of Oakland and the Diocese of Sacramento.It is a monthly publication, distributed the 1st Sunday of each month.
