The county’s only daily publication, the Daily Record reaches some 12,000 readers with daily afternoon editions Monday through Friday and a weekend edition delivered Saturday mornings. The community journal concentrates on one thing: making itself ultimately relevant to residents of Kittitas County. It provides thorough coverage of local people, issues and events, and seasons that with state, national and international news and features to build  readership through the Kittitas Valley and Ellensburg to Upper County, with working families, commuters, and Central Washington University students.
