Time Inc. Launches New Niche-Market Magazine: Cottage Living 05/10/2004
Time Inc., publisher of such popular titles as InStyle and Real Simple, recently announced the launch of its newest magazine, Cottage Living. This niche-market magazine makes its debut with the September/October 2004 issue, on newsstands August 31. Cottage Living is a lifestyle guide to comfort, simplicity and personal style, and its editorial focuses on offering inspiration and fresh ideas for home building, decorating, gardening, entertaining, traveling and more. The average Cottage Living reader is female, 42 years of age with a median income of $79,669. With two issues planned for 2004, Cottage Living will increase its frequency to nine issues in 2005 and 10 issues in 2006. Additionally, Cottage Living’s circulation will debut with 500,000 and increase to 900,000 by 2006.
