The Northumberland News, a twice weekly newspaper, is one of the fastest-growing publications in the Metroland chain of community newspapers. It serves the adjacent harbour towns of Cobourg and Port Hope on the north shore of Lake Ontario, halfway between Toronto and Kingston.
