Main Street Newspapers is a group of seven non-daily newspapers. They serve the communities of Blacksburg, Christiansburg, and Radford in Montgomery County; and the communities of Vinton, Salem and Cave Springs in Roanoke County, as well as Craig County and Botetourt countries.The newspapers provide award-winning community journalism and have been a part of the New River and Roanoke Valleys of Southwest Virginia for more than 140 years. The coverage area stretches from Botetourt County northwest of Roanoke, to the Blue Ridge Mountains that border Montgomery County and look down on Virginia Tech and Radford University.Main Street Newspapers are in the Roanoke - Lynchburg, VA DMA.
