The Los Angeles Times operates a large total market coverage program (TMC) called Local Values that is designed to give advertisers the ability to canvas the entire Los Angeles market. Utilizing a 4-page "wrap" that holds various FSI's and other inserts (i.e. retail circulars), the TMC is distributed inside of the Thursday newspaper to hit subscribers (approx 675,000). On Friday's the TMC is mailed to non-subscribers (4,200,000) through the United States Post Office. Direct response inserts can target just the mail portion only by ZIP Code .
