Bristol Pilot

The Bristol Pilot is now part of a combined publication called The Advance of Bucks, that has distribution throughout the Historic town of Bristol Borough-  nestled along the Delaware River boasting one of the countys most storied pasts. The borough is surrounded by Bristol Township, one of the 10 largest townships in the state of Pennsylvania. Both are home to a level of diversity among the residents not commonly found anywhere else.Founded in 1681 and historically one of Bucks Countys most important waterfront communities, Bristol Borough has seen many changes in its long history. And today it is again making an important transformation, from an industrial center to a vibrant community that is attractive to homeowners and businesses alike.Redevelopment has been top priority in the borough recently, which is not only helping to bring the borough into the future, but also preserving the towns heritage and traditions from its first establishment in the 1600s through to its industrial heyday in the 1900s. Its waterfront, its prime location and its revitalized outlook are all part of Bristol Boroughs revival, and they are all tied to its solid sense of community and history. Some of the projects Bristol Township officials are currently tackling are attracting new businesses, which will create more job opportunities, rehabilitate and improve the infrastructure to support new business, beautify major roads and the township in general and attract good clean business to insure the townships growth.Bristol Township also has a very active community that is helping to weed out crime and plant the seeds of strong character development for the future. With the completion of several rehabilitation projects, The Advance of Bucks is found in Philadelphia, PA DMA, offering ROP and insert advertising opportunities in its daily circulation. Echo Media has direct relationships with over 7,500 newspapers providing tremendous local coverage.
