The Pikeville, Kentucky Appalachian News-Express is in the Charleston-Huntington, WV DMA. The Appalachian News-Express, a multi-weekly morning paper, publishes Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday with a per-issue circulation, which averages 11,000. The News-Express is the largest circulation newspaper in the Eastern Kentucky region and the largest circulation non-daily newspaper in Kentucky. In Pike County, the paper is distributed by home delivery carriers and through retail outlets.
