Amazon.com Makes their Package Insert Program Available to Advertisers 10/31/2003
The new Amazon.com PIP gives advertisers a way to reach some of the most internet-savvy mail-order buyers. Since Amazon.com does not make their customer base available for email or list rental, this package insert program is the only reliable way to reach all of their customers. Following a 500,000-package test run this November, the program will roll out at the beginning of 2004 and will reach an average of 2.5 million customers per month. Amazon.com’s product lines range from their core business of book and video sales to clothing, electronics and toys.
